About Us
The Father Atanasio Gonelli Charitable Fund was established in 2011, to continue the decades of charitable work carried out by Father Atanasio Gonelli in aid of the less fortunate members of the Australian community.
The Father Atanasio Gonelli Charitable Fund funds projects which directly benefit members of the community who are in need of assistance. The funds raised by our Charity will be applied to assisting the disabled, the infirm, the elderly, children with learning difficulties and other projects in accordance with our Charitable Fund’s Aims and Objects.

Aims and Objects
It is intended that the Father Atanasio Gonelli Charitable Fund be a lay Catholic, public, benevolent and charitable institution with the following independent main objects, which shall not be limited by inference from any other paragraph.
1. For its members to live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice, hope and joy by sharing their skills and talents with those members of the Australian community who are in need.
2. To seek to cooperate in shaping a more just, compassionate and charitable society in Australia.
3. To work with and assist people in need, whilst respecting their dignity, sharing hope and encouraging them to take control of their own future.
4. To promote informed discussion on the plight of those in need and to advocate for improved services and facilities for them.
5. To authorise the printing and electronic publication, the naming of public buildings, community halls and chapels in Father Atanasio Gonelli’s legacy.
6. To liaise with and share resources with other charitable organisations with the objective of assisting families and young, elderly, disabled and infirm members of the Australian community.
7. To raise and expend funds in pursuit of the objectives of the Charitable Fund.
8. To ensure that the basic principles and the rules of the Charitable Fund are respected.
